Not going end-to-end after all

Hello again my dear reader,

we have decided to pull out from the Catlin end-to-end walk after all. Given that it’s over 40 km from start to finish and it begins at 08:00, assuming an average speed of 5.75 km per hour which is reliable from our training walks, we would be getting to the end in Dockyard around 15:00, having walked through the hottest part of the day. With the recent blister problems while walking in the heat over much shorter distances, it appears not to make sense to try it. I hope to have a go at doing it next year.
