Hello again my dear reader,
with the wife away, you’d think I’d be partying. But, one the one hand, it’s not like I have that bad a time when she’s here, Jitka is quite easygoing. And, on the other, I have to look after the dog so I have little time for “play” even if I had the inclination.
Yesterday evening, I got home after work and went straight out with Athena. We did this walk. I’m not 100% sure that the link will work for you, I had mixed results with Firefox and Internet Explorer but try it anyway. I even took two photos at Horseshoe Bay Beach although the weather wasn’t great and they may not look as nice as the would in pure sunshine. I’ll try again today and see it works better.
The walk was nice all the way until Horseshoe Bay Beach. Then, it started raining and, if you’ve been reading this blog, you’ll know that when it rains here, it pours. So, by the time we got home, Athena and I were absolutely saturated. I was wearing my (formerly) waterproof jacket and I still got so wet that, really, only my “sensitive” parts were dry, a small win if you like in an overall weather defeat.
You can also see from the walk that my GPS didn’t pick up my location from the beginning but from about half a km away from the house. My phone is a Nokia C6, I don’t know if that is the reason for the GPS being rubbish or the fact that I’m in Bermuda and I guess no GPS satellite is geolocating above us here in the middle of the ocean.
Please check again soon for more fun, I’ll try to track my runs and walks on sports tracker so you can get a commentary in the blog entry and see the location on the map.
